HOW COMPOST PLUS ORGANIC FERTILIZER FOR CASH/TREE CROPS:
E.g. cocoa, coconut, cotton, kola nut, oil palm etc.
(A) Planting: Dig a hole and mix 250g (equivalent of 5 Nescafe tin) of compost PLUS with the soil and plant your crop.
(B) Existing crop: Make a ring of about 2cm to 3cm deep, around the drip line of the plant and mix 250g of compost plus with the native soil and cover the soil.
(C) Planting: coconut and oil palm. Apply the same method as (a) above
(D) Existing plant: as in coconut and oil palm make a ring round the base of the plant, at a distance of 2 to 3 feet to the base of the crop, then mix 250g of compost PLUS with the tilled native soil, ring and cover it
COMPOST PLUS ORGANIC FERTLIZR FOR CEREALS CROPS:
E g: Maize, Millet, Rice, Sorghum and Wheat etc.
(A) Planting: Mix 25gm of Compost PLUS with the native soil and plant seed
(B) Existing plant: e.g. Maize, Millet etc. make a ring or circle of about 5cm round the base of the crop, Mix 25gm of Compost PLUS with the native soil and cover it
(C) Planting: Upland rice and wheat. Spread 200kg Compost PLUS per hectare.
(D) Planting: Swamp rice on the nursery beds spread 100gm Compost PLUS per 10m2 bed.
(E) For transplanting the swamp rice from nursery bed spread 200kg per hectare round the swampy ground. Till the bed and then transplant the rice.
COMPOST PLUS ORGANIC FERTLIZR FOR CIRTRUS/FRUIT:
(B) Eg: Grapes, Lemon, Orange, Pawpaw and Pineapples, Sugarcane etc.
(A) Planting: make a hole and mix 50gm of compost PLUS with the native soil and plant
(B) Existing crop: Make a ring round the plant (drip line) and mix 250gm of compost PLUS with the native soil and cover it.
COMPOST PLUS ORGANIC FERTLIZR FOR SUCKERS:
Eg: Banana, plantain, etc.
(A) Planting: make a hole a mix 250gm of compost PLUS with the soil and plant the crop
(B) Existing crop: make ring-like hole of about one foot deep round the crop, 2 feet to the base of the plant mix, 250gm of compost PLUS with the native soil and cover it.
COMPOST PLUS ORGANIC FERTLIZR FOR TUBERS:
E.g., cassava, cocoyam, potatoes, yam, etc.
(A) Planting: Make a hole on either the heaps or ridges mix 50gm of compost PLUS with the native soil and cover it.
(B) Existing crop: make a ring of about of foot deep round the crop; one foot to the base of the crop mix 50gm of compost PLUS with the native soil and cover the soil.
COMPOST PLUS ORGANIC FERTLIZR FOR VEGETABLES AND FLOWERS:
E.g. Cabbages, carrot, cucumber, lettuce, okra, onions, Fluted pumpkins, radish squash, spinach, jute mallow etc.
(A) Planting crop: Make a hole and mix 25gm PLUS of compost with the soil and plant seed.
(B) Existing crop: make a ring-like a trench of about one foot deep and one foot to the base of the crop, Make a hole and mix 25gm of compost PLUS with the native soil in the circle a cover it
(C) For jute mallow- make a 10m2 of vegetable bed and spread 250gm of compost PLUS on it and broadcast your seed
